Andrew Wright
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Wright is a Tampa-based entrepreneur and investor with nearly two decades of experience building and scaling
institutional-quality real estate and investment platforms. He brings deep expertise in commercial property underwriting, risk assessment, portfolio management, and capital deployment skills directly aligned with the disciplined approach required in excess and surplus lines commercial property insurance. Since founding Franklin Street in December 2006, Mr. Wright has grown the firm from a startup launched during the financial crisis into a national commercial real estate platform with hundreds of employees and billions in transaction volume. He led the company through the 2008–2009 downturn by building a vertically integrated business model encompassing the full lifecycle of commercial assets, including investment sales, leasing, property management, capital advisory, and insurance services. This operational breadth provided Mr. Wright with a comprehensive understanding of property-level risk factors,
cash flow analysis, asset quality, sponsor evaluation, and market cycle dynamics that are foundational to sound underwriting. He continues to serve as CEO and Chairman of Franklin Street’s Board of Directors, providing strategic oversight and guiding long-term growth initiatives for the firm.

Aaron Garcia
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Garcia is a seasoned insurance executive with more than 20 years of experience in property and casualty underwriting, product development, and executive leadership. As President of Commercial Property at Millennial Specialty Insurance (MSI), he launched and scaled the MGA’s multifamily habitational program to over $40M in written premium in just two years, achieving a loss ratio under 34%.
Previously, Aaron served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Property at Jupiter Risk Services, where he built organizational processes, secured reinsurance capacity, and grew a $29M book in the first year. He spent 15 years at Travelers Insurance in various leadership roles, including Vice President of Commercial Property, where he oversaw performance across multiple states, developed business strategies, and sponsored talent development programs.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Texas A&M University and is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). He is recognized for his ability to build and lead high-performing teams, develop innovative underwriting strategies, and deliver profitable results.

Eual Tyler Cathey
General Counsel
Mr. Cathey is an experienced attorney and commercial real estate professional. Working for Ally Capital Group, he provides counsel on all legal matters while managing litigation risk, protecting investment assets and advising on regulatory issues.
Mr. Cathey leverages a broad skillset, crafted over years of accomplishments in various fields. Most recently, he served COO and General Counsel for Franklin Street, where he provided leadership and guidance for a rapidly expanding commercial real estate firm handling billions of dollars in transaction volume. Prior to that, he served as the principal advisor to Florida’s Attorney General with responsibility for overseeing nearly 500 lawyers and 1,300 employees and advising on all legal and administrative matters associated with the office. He also brings experience in sophisticated litigation on behalf of national clients with Holland & Knight.

Will Sadlowski
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Sadlowski supervises financial reporting, oversees all treasury and banking functions as well as audit and tax compliance. In addition, Mr. Sadlowski works with the acquisitions and investment teams on deal terms and structures and assists on financial due diligence, investor relations and risk management.
Before joining Ally Capital Group, Mr. Sadlowski spent 10 years as the Chief Financial Officer for Franklin Street, a commercial real estate and insurance company, where he oversaw tremendous growth across six locations and seven business lines. He continues to serve on Franklin Street’s Board of Directors and is the chair of Franklin Street’s Finance Committee. Before Franklin Street, he spent the first seven years of his career at Grant Thornton, where he was an audit manager.
Mr. Sadlowski is a Certified Public Accountant.

Tom Mercer
Chief Underwriting Officer
Mr. Mercer brings more than two decades of property underwriting, product management, new program development, and analytical leadership to Lighthouse Risk MGA. Tom served as Chief Underwriting Officer for Commercial Property at Millennial Specialty Insurance (MSI), where he launched a nationwide E&S habitational program that grew to over $40M in two years since program launch. He secured hybrid fronting capacity, built the operating model, and developed an innovative rating plan leveraging real-time CAT modelling, credit scoring, and proprietary all-peril factors.
Before MSI, Tom was Director of Commercial Products at American Coastal Insurance Company, managing a $450M coastal property portfolio across multiple states and more than doubling pre-tax earnings in a single year. He previously held senior leadership roles in commercial property at Velocity Risk Underwriters and ICAT Managers, where he drove advancements in analytics, new program launches, and catastrophic risk modelling. Earlier in his career, Tom was a Naval Officer and Test Pilot before transitioning into strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company and product management at Progressive Insurance.
Tom holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from UCLA Anderson, a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.

John Chevalier
Chief Technology and Operations Officer
Mr. Chevalier is responsible for technology, operations, and platform governance supporting underwriting and compliance. He brings more than 30 years of experience working across MGAs, carriers, and risk‑capital‑backed insurance platforms, partnering with underwriting and carrier teams to build scalable, durable operating models that support growth while protecting discipline.
